- Q: So what is PlayerFind?
A: PlayerFind is a social network/portal created purely to help people find people to play sports / do activities local to them (See Video Below)
- Q: How much will it cost me?
A: Nothing... PlayerFind is completely free
- Q: So how do I find people?
On the home page you will see the main seach at the top, simply start typing a sport in the textbox and you will see a list of Sports we have >> Select one of those sports, then choose how far away you want to find people >> If you are not logged in, you will need to type in your postcode (If you are already logged in your postcode will already be in the textbox) >> Just click 'GO'.. Results will be ordered by the closest person to you and will be seperated by Users and Clubs. (See Video Below)
- Q: Where is / what is my admin navigation?
A: After you have logged in, you get a new admin navigation just under the main navigation of the site (Screen shot below)

- Q: I'm not sure how to contact or what to say to someone about playing a Sport / doing an Activity?
A: No problem, we have added a button named 'Send Sport Request' on each persons profile, if you are logged in - Go to the persons profile you are interested in contacting, and simply click the Green 'Send Sport Request' button... We do the rest... You will then get a message back from the user and you can arrange when you want to meet and get your game on!
- Q: Why do I have to put my postcode in?
A: Your postcode is used to let you find people within a certain distance from you, it is never displayed or given out - The only information shown is the town / village you live in
- Q: How do I add a sport to my Profile?
A: Once you have logged in, click on 'Edit My Profile' in your admin navigation and you will be taken to the Edit Profile page - On the right hand side you will see a list of sports, you simply select the sport and click 'Add New Sport'. This will TAG your profile with this sport and allow people local to you who are also interested in the sport to find you.
- Q: How do I add a photo?
A: Simply login (Or register if you haven't) and click on 'My Photos' in your admin navigation then click 'Add New Photos'. From here you can upload 4 images at a time into your chosen photo album, image limitations are as follows: They must be a JPG or GIF and cannot be over 1mb in size.
- Q: What are photo albums?
A: Photo albums are what they say on the tin, they are just albums that you can categorise your photos in. You can create unlimited photo albums, and can do this via the same page as you upload images (See above)
- Q: How do I create a club?
A: Very simple, just login (Or register if you haven't) and click on 'My Clubs' in your admin navigation. Now you can see clubs you are a member of and clubs you have already created, now just click the 'Create A New Club' button.
- Q: How do I create an event?
A: Again very simple, just login (Or register if you haven't) and click on 'My Events' in your admin navigation. Now you can see events you have registered to attend and events you have already created, now just click the 'Create A New Event' button.
- Q: How do I get my images to appear on a Clubs home page or Events home page?
A: Getting images to appear under and club or event home page involves you TAGGING the image, after you have uploaded your images (See FAQ #8 above) go to 'Manage Photos' and click on the Image you want to add the TAG's to. The Image edit page will load and on the right, you will see a list of Clubs & Events, now you just TAG the image (The same was as you add sports to your profile SEE FAQ #7) - Once TAGGED the image will automatically appear on the Club or Event page.
